Paul Corupe - Writer & Editor

Canadian Film Historian, Investigator of Cultural Ephemera

  • About

Since 1999 I have shared my passion for Canada's film history at Canuxploitation.com, a site recognized as the essential source for uncovering the forgotten films of Canada's past.

As a freelance writer, I contribute to many different national and international online and print publications on topics ranging from silent horror films to Canadian funk musicians of the 1960s.

Working professionally as an editor, I have more than eight years of experience developing, copyediting, proofreading and publishing online, print and broadcasting content. My specialties include internal and external web content, newsletters, marketing materials, podcast scripts and books.

  • Canadian Film

I have researched and written about Canadian film for more than a decade for my website Canuxploitation.com. I am currently recognized as an expert in Canadian genre movies and have appeared in documentaries, DVD extras and in personal appearances discussing everything from the history of Canadian horror films to the legacy of tax shelter cinema and Canada's documentary tradition.

    – Dave Bidini (National Post)

"The world's leading expert on Canadian exploitation cinema."
